Phoenix Awards Now Open with Simplified Entry Period and Lower Pricing

Submit by July 17

We’re pleased to announce that the Phoenix Awards Call for Entries is now open! We recognize that the past few months have been incredibly challenging for all of us, so we’ve made some changes to our program in an effort to make submitting easier and more cost effective.

We want you to reflect on your hard work and contributions to your organizations and clients over the past year. As always, the Phoenix Awards recognize the best communications projects and strategic programs produced by Georgia’s outstanding PR and communications professionals.

New COVID-19-Related Submission Updates:

1.    We have added a new “Is this entry COVID-19 related” question to all program and project categories. Should a category garner enough COVID-19-specific entries, we will recognize separate award winners as a COVID-19 sub-category apart from non-COVID entries.

2.    In addition, we have also added a “Best of COVID-19 Communications” category, similar to our “Best of Phoenix” program. The top three COVID-19 related program entries with the highest scores will be judged by a separate panel of seasoned practitioners to determine our “Best of COVID-19 Communications” winner.

Simplified Entry Period and Pricing:

Entry fees have been reduced to $75 for members and $95 for non-members throughout the entry period, which ends July 17.

Eligibility:

The Phoenix Awards are open to statewide submissions of work produced from June 1, 2019 – May 31, 2020.

Program and Project Categories:

Be sure to carefully review the 2020 Program Categories and 2020 Project Categories to determine the best fit for your work.
